The Kit Hillbillies are an old-time, bluegrass, ragtime toe tapping string band and old fashioned harmony singing. The music has an infectious swing and syncopation that’s easily danceable, and avoid being too loud so you can talk without screaming!

It is 1938 and a cargo boat is wrecked on the Tamar. The Captain says that he believed he had been chased by a submarine, he thought possibly a U Boat, and that he had been left with no choice but to beach the ship. The boat was also carrying a small contingent of passengers who were rescued. Rumours of spies and intrigue abound.

We are extremely lucky and privileged to have world famous guitarists John Williams and John Etheridge playing in Landulph again for two nights. The two Johns have been playing together for 16 years. Two years ago they gave us two magical evenings and this year we are sure will be just the same. A lot of favourite tunes and others less well known.
