Medical Maelstrom – Cabaret Comedy

Back by popular request, Medical Maelstrom, three Cornish doctors, Michele Sharkey, Sam Freegard and Anthony Seddon, are renowned throughout the Duchy for their unique genre of music, singing and comedy.
Michele Sharkey is a GP who qualified in Glasgow, has a love of opera and has performed many major operatic rôles, but whose favourite gigs are with Maelstrom. Sam Freegard qualified in London at the same time as developing his enjoyment of being silly on stage, where he performed regularly in revue before coming to Cornwall in 1982. Anthony Seddon was a boy chorister at King’s College, Cambridge, and a choral scholar at Magdalen College, Oxford where he read medicine. He came to Cornwall’s new hospital at Treliske in 1973. He has been a member of the Cathedral Choir, was a founder member of Duchy Opera and has played with a classical trio on Saga cruises.

Doors and bar open at 7pm, event starts at 8pm.
